About Me
Hi, I’m Sarah Jackson—writer, traveler, and Navy veteran—wandering the world with my best friend and service dog, Ace. Together, we’ve explored coastlines, cities, and quiet corners of the globe, collecting stories as we go.

This blog is where I share pieces of those adventures—photos of the places we’ve seen, moments that made us laugh (or hold our breath), and reflections on the beauty, culture, and unexpected kindness we find along the way.

Life with Ace isn’t just about the miles we travel, but the people we meet, the lessons we learn, and the joy of seeing the world through fresh eyes—his and mine.

Our Story

“Navy vet and wandering storyteller, traveling the world with Ace—my service dog, travel buddy, and full-time boss who insists on cream cheese and chicken for dinner. I handle the passports; he handles the treats.” 🐾

Psalm 4:8 NIV

“In peace I will lie down and sleep, for you alone, Lord, make me dwell in safety.”

Micah 6:8 NIV

“He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”

Ephesians 1:7 NIV

“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace.”

The Devil is Real & Jesus is Real

God is real and he speaks to us. Most people are not able to differentiate the voice from their thoughts. When they do hear his voice, they think it is the universe. So many people are telling me that they don’t believe in God, but they do believe in the universe. This is strange to me because there are trillions of universes and the one we live in is made up of gases, minerals, and water. But I will share stories of my developing relationship with God and some of the things he has said to me, preventing me from dying.
